The Leonard A. Lauder Community Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania offers a tuition-free pathway to becoming a nurse practitioner. Eligible nurses must already have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a 3.0 GPA, and at least one year of clinical experience. Graduates are required to work in underserved areas for a minimum of two years. Chamberlain University College of Nursing
Chamberlain’s Called-to-Care Scholars Program, in partnership with LCMC Health, offers three years of tuition-free education for students pursuing a BSN. In exchange for the free education, graduates must agree to work for three years at one of LCMC Health’s facilities in Louisiana. Students are also required to pass the NCLEX exam and fulfill the work commitment or repay the tuition costs.
University of Texas Permian Basin
Thanks to a generous $10 million donation, the Permian Strategic Partnership (PSP) scholarship at the University of Texas Permian Basin offers tuition and fees coverage for nursing students from the Permian Basin region. In return, students must maintain a 2.5 GPA and agree to work within the region’s healthcare system after graduation.
University of Akron
The Akron Children’s Career Launch Program, in partnership with Akron Children’s Hospital, provides 100% tuition coverage for students pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at the University of Akron.
